Review: Intended for Bristol by L.P. Dover

L. P. Dover’s tantalizing Second Chances series gets a change of scenery as the Carolina Cougars’ infamous bad boy heads to the West Coast. His best laid plans call for seduction—but a driven career woman has him begging for more.

Trying to live down his very public indiscretions, Carolina Cougars kicker Jaxon Reed feels like the most hated man in the NFL. When he’s traded away, his new teammates in California don’t waste any time making his life miserable. Unfortunately for them, Jaxon’s no easy target. As payback, he sets his sights on the quarterback’s sister: a sultry brunette who’s curvy, confident, and sexy as hell. But what begins as a revenge fling turns into so much more.

Bristol Thomas doesn’t have time for games, especially those played by her brother’s Neanderthal teammates. A talented interior designer with lofty goals, she doesn’t know the first thing about football, or Jaxon—except that he’s exactly the type of man she usually avoids. But when his deep laugh and deeper kisses break through her walls, she becomes the target of a fan who’s obsessed with Jaxon. Now she needs to know that Jaxon has her back . . . because he already has her heart.

Kristine's Thoughts:

** I received an advanced readers copy from Loveswept via NetGalley in exchange for an honest review. Thank you!**

Intended for Bristol is the 8th book in the Second Chances series but it can be read as a stand alone. I have read some but not all of the previous books. There are reoccurring characters but each book is about a different set of characters.

This book was really quick and easy to get through. Although it was a little bit too insta love for my liking it still had all of the components that I enjoy in a contemporary romance. It was also nice to revisit some of the characters from past instalments.

I have to admit that it took me a while to warm up to Jaxon. I remembered him too well from the previous book where he was not at all a good or likeable person. Going with the "second chances" motto I pushed my feelings aside and eventually found myself routing for him. Bristol, on the other hand, I liked immediately. She was smart and motivated and had a good head on her shoulders.

My only complaint about this book is that it was a little busy. I could get past the insta love but with the lies of omission complicating the relationship and a crazy fan aspect, Jaxon and Bristol were really on their toes for the entire 233 pages. Having said that, it was still quite entertaining.

I look forward to what comes next!

Release Blast & Giveaway: Blue Satin Sashes by Millenia Black

A searing story of passion, desperation and vengeance…

BLUE SATIN SASHES
Favorite Things Trilogy: Book Two
Millenia Black
Releasing Nov 28th, 2016

From the #1 bestselling author of The Great Pretender comes the highly anticipated second book in the captivating Favorite Things Trilogy—Blue Satin Sashes is a searing story of passion, desperation and vengeance…

What happens when you fall in love with someone else?

Paris, France. Corporate brand designer Michael Frost knows he’s found a once in a lifetime love in professional illustrator Priscilla Bauer, the granddaughter of a legendary Hollywood icon—but Michael must now cross an ocean of regrets to repair damage inflicted by his heartbroken high school sweetheart Amber Holland, whose increasingly extreme attempts at sabotage may know no bounds…

How will she win? How will she lose?

Brave the razor-sharp edges of an intensely hot love triangle as Michael and Priscilla discover the depths of Amber’s passion ultimately rivals their own.

They seemed to reach the Rue de Bacilli in a blink. He thrust euros at the driver and left the cab, so glad the rain had stopped. When he slipped through the gate, his steps slowed as he approached the keypad. He tried to relax. Earlier he’d been anxious, now adrenalin fueled him. Pressing the button, Michael waited. A minute later the blue light came on and he stared into the camera, breathing.
When the door buzzed he slipped inside, climbed the stairs and found Priscilla standing at the door in her PJs, giving him a questioning look. Her face was devoid of makeup, her hair in a loose bun atop her head.
Without a word, Michael approached and she stepped back. Their eyes locked. He walked into the apartment and closed the door. The air ripened around them.
Priscilla opened her mouth to speak but closed it when he took her hand and pulled her toward him.
Michael brushed his lips across hers, gently pulling the clip from her hair. When the silky mane fell, he cupped her head; and they stood that way for a long moment, neither moving. He inhaled her powdery scent. When he finally kissed her again, he was hungry for reassurance. Her hands went up his arms and she squeezed his shoulders.
Michael lifted her against his body; their kiss grew more intense. He slid the thin strap of her top off her shoulder, exposing one of the things he loved most about Priscilla’s body. He bent and took her taut, dark nipple into his mouth, making her sigh and sob at the same time. He lavished it with his tongue, sucked fervently with his lips.
As he raised her, she wrapped her legs around him as her hands worked to unzip his jacket. Carrying her down the hall, he found the bedroom purely on instinct. He laid her on the bed and quickly shed his top. Priscilla’s hooded eyes were on him and he loved what he saw there. Holding her gaze, he slid off her pajama shorts and tossed them to the floor. Then he moved the crotch of her undies to one side, exposing another of his favorite things. He caressed it gently with the pad of his thumb, up, down; her body trembling as she moaned his name and began pushing at his sweatpants. When he didn’t move fast enough to get them off, she nudged him back and slid them down herself, then she got him on his back.
As she leaned over him, Michael fiercely kicked the sweats from his ankles as her hair tickled his chest and her tight wetness inched down on him like a velvet glove, slowly, sweetly stealing his sanity.
The ride began slowly, deliciously. Michael caressed her body and raised his head to meet her nipple, sucking for dear life as the ride got faster, harder. Her honeyed breast fell from his mouth as their eyes locked and he felt the approach of his climax. His body trembled as the pleasure built up inside him, his love for her set to explode. He gripped her ass with both hands, tighter, trying to hold back. Their sighs and moans filled the room, the apartment. Her movement got deeper, more measured as she rode him at slight angles; Michael could feel she was about to come. He grit his teeth and swore, his body trembling.
When she came it was violent; her body gripped him like a vice, gushing a warmth so wet, he came inside her immediately.
Priscilla collapsed beside him, eyes closed, body quivering. The silence that followed their intense cries was deafening.
Breathing heavily, his ears ringing, Michael pulled her into his arms, entwining their legs and kissing her lips, nose and closed eyes. “I’m sorry I hurt you,” he panted, feeling her fingers caress the hairs on his chest. Her eyes opened and he could see her tortured heart in them. “Cilla, I swear on my mother’s grave I’ll never hurt you again.” He watched as tears filled her eyes and he kissed her again, then trailed kisses down to her neck where he sucked long enough to leave a mark as she writhed and clung to him.
Caressing her nipple he whispered, “Say you believe me. It’s why I came back.” When she didn’t speak right away, he got on top of her and parted her thighs. Michael was already hard again, rubbing himself against her moist clit. Up and down, back and forth. She cried out, calling his name as her hips left the bed. Her legs wrapped around his waist as she tried to get him to slip inside.
“Say it,” he said fiercely. “Say you believe me.”
“I believe you.”
He slid into her slowly, stretching her inch by inch. “Do you really?”
She tightened around him as she raised her hips. “Yes,” she whispered. “You’ll never hurt me again.”
“Cilla.” He traced her lips with his tongue. “I love you.”
“I love you,” she managed as he thrust deeper, awakening the oasis.

Before long, Michael’s movements were less rhythmic and took on urgency. Priscilla’s fingers plunged into his hair and she tensed beneath him moaning, her eyes closed.
Looking down and seeing her beautiful face rapt in pleasure, hearing her sigh his name...Michael lost control of his movements and died in her body.

Series: The Wedding Belles #2
Genre: Romance

Kristine's Thoughts:

For Better or Worse is the second book in The Wedding Belles series but it can be read as a stand alone. Each book is about a different wedding planner that works at "The Wedding Belles" in New York City. Lauren Layne is one of my favourite authors of this genre so I did read the first instalment before this one although it wasn't necessary to follow along.

Normally I tend to like the first book in a series the most but that was not the case with this series. I really liked From This Day Forward but I loved For Better or Worse. I couldn't put it down and I gobbled it right up. I've said it a million times but Layne has a way of penning characters that makes me fall in love with them. They are real, relatable, likeable, quirky, witty and I adore the banter. Speaking of banter... there was some of her best work in this book. I adored the back and forth between 4A and 4C...oops...I mean Heather and Josh. On more than a few occasions I found myself smiling as I turned the pages. The way her characters communicate is something that I love and I often wonder if she speaks like that in every day life.

The women of "The Wedding Belles" are what make this series so great to read. It doesn't really matter which character the book is about because you just know it is going to be great. Once again Layne has given me everything that I have come to expect out of her and then some. Even though parts were somewhat predictable, her characters and the way they communicate more than make up for it. I can't wait for the next instalment!

Review: Lone Wolf (FBI K-9 Mysteries #1) by Sara Dricoll

ebook, 304 pages
Expected publication: November 29th 2016 by Kensington
Genre: Mystery

Kristine's Thoughts:

** I received an advanced readers copy from Kensington in exchange for an honest review. Thank you!**

This book was a mystery in the sense that the main character did not know who was responsible for the bombings but as the reader you got to hear the voice of the bomber.

Let me start out by saying that I love dogs. In fact, I like them better than most humans so I wasn't surprised that I would be drawn to this story about Meg and her search and rescue dog Hawk. It was an absolute pleasure to read about a different side of law enforcement and the bond between handler and animal.

This book was a relatively simple mystery that moved quickly and I was able to finish it in a short amount of time. There were no complicated plot twists involved and no guessing who the suspect was. Sometimes I find it nice to read a straight forward book that doesn't make you think too much. This was one of those books.

I only have two minor critiques that I feel the need to mention...

The first was the connection that Meg made with a previous robbery that she thought might connect the cases. She used connections to get an inside scoop and a jump on the investigation. In my opinion, it was such a simple connection that I found it hard to believe that nobody else was able to make the same connection.

The second isn't really a critique but I need to mention it anyway. I wanted more Hawk! Although he was a large part of the story, it wasn't enough. I craved more about the Labrador and would have loved a little more time spent with him.

This was the first book in a brand new series so it looks like I will be able to get to read some more about the furry FBI sidekicks in the future. I look forward to following this series and the hard working service dogs that go with it.

Excerpt 1 She flushed and looked down at her paper to compose herself. “I do,” she said quietly. “I appreciate your faith in me.” When he said nothing, she amended, “Or maybe this is a test, in which case, I plan to pass it.” She lifted her chin. A smile flashed around both corners of his mouth but it disappeared as quickly as it had come. “Go,” he said, with his characteristic curtness. She stood and walked to the door. Grasping the knob, she screwed up her courage and turned around. “Mr. Stone?” He turned from his computer screen and raised an eyebrow. “Did you hire me for this job because you actually think I show promise or is it because—” she stopped. He didn’t help, gazing at her with both eyebrows raised now. She swallowed. “Because you like the way I look in a skirt?” The smile flitted across his face and his eyes dropped to her skirt and down her legs. She flushed, wishing she hadn’t said it. “Get out, Ashley.” She actually laughed. Well, it was more a gasp for breath, or a sob. But it came out like a bubble of laughter. He’d called her by her first name, which felt like a success. And she loved the way it sounded in his deep, rich tones, evoking intimacy and...heat. She pushed the door open and stumbled out, relieved to be out of his intense presence. But the moment she shut the door, she missed it. How would she survive working for this man? He stole her breath with every glance.

Excerpt 2 He dreamed Ashley was leaning over him, murmuring something seductive in his ear. She unbuttoned his jeans, her hand sliding into the opening and gripping his shaft. He groaned out loud and the sound of his voice jerked him awake. He blinked, still in a haze from the dream. Light filtered through the motel room curtains. His cock was hard and...oh God. Ashley had it in her grip, stroking his length. He lay on his side and she pressed against his back, her soft form molded against his hard one. He groaned again. “What are you doing?” he croaked. “We humans call it a hand job,” she teased, the lilt of her voice like an intoxicating spell whispered in his ear. “But I’m willing to up the ante.” She crawled over him, pulling off his jeans. He found himself powerless to shake her off, or even to ask her to stop. It was so wrong, but he wanted it, wanted anything she was willing to give to him. She returned to his cock, gripping it in one hand as she lowered her lips. He shuddered before she even met his flesh, his skin anticipating her wet heat. He reached up and held the headboard to keep from touching her, closed his eyes to keep from seeing her. His hips jolted off the bed the moment she made contact with her mouth. “Oh fuuu—” He cut off the curse, not wanting to be crude. She deserved better than that. She deserved a much better male than he. Her lips closed around the head of his cock, tongue swirling around the rim. His toes flexed involuntarily, legs stretched, buttocks clenched as his manhood stood even taller, growing for her. She gripped him with two hands, sliding them up and down as she brought the head of his cock in and out of her mouth making it feel like she’d taken his entire length into her mouth. Her teeth grazed him more than once, her jaw too small for his width, but he didn’t care. He wanted it to go on forever. He wanted it to stop immediately. He needed to claim her. No. He shook his head, shoving back the beast. Ashley continued her meticulous torture, humming against his skin, licking, sucking. His knuckles turned white on the headboard, muscles straining. Cum surged down his shaft. “Oh, God,” he choked. “I’m coming.” Ashley didn’t take her mouth off his cock, accepting his offering with feminine grace, swallowing with a satisfied smile. He flipped her to her back and pounced, covering her body with his. His cock, still hard, despite the release, found her slick entryway and was already prodding for entrance before his brain kicked back into gear. Get off her. He blinked, rocking his hips so the tip of his cock actually breached her hole. Oh Hallelujah. Nothing felt sweeter than the first parting of her inner lips. No. He mustered all his willpower and yanked himself off her. Get a grip, Stone.

Excerpt 3 The car stopped and three men got out. She tried to see in the darkened windows for another person. Where was Melissa? The men walked toward her. They were young men—scruffy-looking, with tattooed arms and piercings. They wore t-shirts and jeans and they palmed guns. “Where’s Melissa?” she called out. “You got the laptop?” one of them asked as they drew closer. “Maybe,” she said, clutching it to her chest and backing toward her car. As if she had any chance of not giving it to them when they were armed and it was three against one. “Where’s Melissa?” “She’s in the car. Give us the laptop and you can see her.” They had backed her up to her car now, surrounding her. “I want to see her first.” One of them cocked his gun and held it up to her temple, pushing hard against her skull. “Hand it over,” he said as his friend grabbed it and tried to pry it from her chest. “No,” she said struggling. The guy with the gun smacked her head with it and she fell back, against the car. She lost her grip on the laptop and one of them snatched it away. Another one grabbed her arm and yanked her forward. “You’re coming with us, honey,” he said. A terrible snarl sounded from the other side of her car and suddenly a huge black animal leaped over the car, gleaming white teeth snapping. Its jaws closed over the neck of the man holding her and they both tumbled to the ground, the beast snarling and growling as they rolled together. Gunshots rang out from both directions, and the animal yelped and let go, but sprang to its feet, crouching to attack another man. The men continued to fire at the animal, and guns fired, the sound ricocheting around the concrete parking garage. Screaming blared in her ears—her own voice, she realized. The laptop had fallen to the ground and she grabbed it and took off running for their car. If her sister was in it, she needed to get to her. The animal launched at her, knocking her down. She screamed, expecting it to move in for the kill, but instead it turned, lunging at one of the men. “Let’s go, let’s get out of here,” one of them yelled, helping up the most severely wounded and dragging him toward their car. She climbed to her feet to follow, but the wolf—or whatever it was—turned and snarled, blood dripping from its muzzle. She took a step back. It snarled again, blocking her way, then it chased the remaining man, tackling him once, but then taking another gunshot wound which left it lying as the man jumped in the driver’s seat and the car screeched off. She ran a few steps after, then stopped, seeing the beast climb to its feet. She froze. It turned amber eyes on her and growled, low and menacing. It was covered in blood, and its fangs looked razor sharp. It advanced. She backed up slowly. “Easy, big guy,” she said, her heart in her throat. She didn’t make eye contact or any sudden movements. If she could just get to her car, she’d be all right. It continued to follow her, though, his head lowered, fangs bared. The growl was like nothing she’d ever heard before. Unworldly. Terrifying. Her butt hit the car and she fumbled for the door, not wanting to turn her back on the animal. The wolf stalked closer and she shrieked, scrambling up on the trunk to get away. The beast suddenly transformed, growing taller, thinning out. She blinked, thinking she had lost her mind. Ben Stone stood in front of her, dripping in blood, naked, and looking furious. He yanked open the back door to her car and pulled her off the trunk at the same time. “Get on the floor,” he said, pointing to the back seat. “Head down, eyes lowered. Now.

Excerpt 4 He didn’t touch her. “Go to bed, Ashley,” he said, sounding tired. Determination made her brave. “Fuck you,” she ventured. In less than a second she found herself pinned to the bed by a solid hand at her nape, and her panties down. Ben hadn’t even moved from his place, he simply twisted in his seat to hold her captive. “I think you must want another spanking,” he said. “Yes,” she panted. She heard him suck in his breath. He didn’t move. He didn’t lessen the grip on the back of her neck, but he didn’t spank her either. She remained perfectly still. Then his palm fell on her ass, fast and furious. She tried to keep still, since she had asked for it, but that only lasted a few moments before the sting set in. Then, she wriggled and bucked, twisted and clenched to dodge the punishing blows. She bit her lips to keep from crying out. She didn’t want him to stop. She wanted it all—everything he had to give. Her bottom warmed under his hand, the initial sting fading after twenty or so spanks, turning into a delicious burn as he continued. It hurt, but it also felt good. She craved each stinging slap as it fell on her bare ass. She offered herself up to him, surrendered to his dominance. A pulsing heat grew in her sex, fueling the coil of need within her. Abruptly, he stopped and released her. She waited in tingling anticipation, opening her legs wider in a clear invitation. “Go to bed,” he repeated. It felt like cold water thrown in her face. For a moment, she couldn’t breathe, the indignity of being spanked and sent to bed too much. But desire made her bold. She scrambled off the bed and climbed over him, straddling his waist and pushing her breasts in his face. His face twisted, as if in pain. “Don’t,” he grated. Yet one of his hands was already crushing her breast, the other kneading her ass. His grip was bruising, demanding, almost painful. She smashed her body against his, wanting more. His hot mouth landed on her hardened nipple, biting through her bra. Both nipples tightened, tingling for his touch. Her pussy clenched in eager spasms. He shifted his grip, clamping one arm around her waist and reaching for her pussy with his free hand, rubbing over the silk gusset of her panties. She lurched at the shock of contact with her most sensitive area, but he held her in place, his fingers slipping inside to slide roughly along her weeping slit. “Ben,” she groaned. He dipped two fingers inside her and at the same time, shoved her t-shirt up and yanked it off her with one hand. As his fingers twisted and thrust inside her, he yanked down one side of her bra. His lips fell on her nipple, teeth grazed, tongue flicked as he tugged the bra down to her waist. Her fingers fumbled with the clasp and she tossed it to the floor. He thrust his fingers inside her again, hitting her g-spot and making her legs lose all strength. If he hadn’t been holding her up, she would have collapsed to the floor. But he didn’t slow down, he kept finger-fucking her until he had her dancing on his lap, the penetration sending her hips into fantastic gyrations. His cock bulged in his jeans beneath her, impressive in size. She wrapped her arms around his neck, clinging to him for stability as he made her squirm with overpowering need. Just as she was about to come, he withdrew his fingers, still wet from her juices, and pressed one against her anus. She jerked, trying to hide it from him. He held her fast, pushing insistently as his other hand came from the front. He shoved two fingers—oh God, was that three? inside her pussy, as one digit breached her back hole. She bit into his shirt and screamed through closed teeth, holding still. No one had touched her back hole before. Mess with the bull, you get the horns. Ashley had known Ben Stone would be intense, but she hadn’t expected things to go this way, this fast. He alternated penetration—first thrusting into her pussy, then her ass, filling her, stretching her, sending her over the edge. Her eyes rolled back in her head, she mewled and yarled like a cat in heat, completely out of control. The sensations cascaded through her—pussy, clit and anus all hit with stimulation at once. She arched, shoving her breast against his mouth. The moment he sucked her nipple back into his mouth with a hard pull, she came apart. Throwing her head back, her body bucked on its own accord when the climax began to rock through her. The room spun and her skin burned, scorched in every place Ben Stone touched her. Before she’d caught her breath, her reality tipped and she found herself on the bed, with Ben easing his fingers out of her. His face held none of the relaxation she experienced, his eyebrows drawn together in pain.

Excerpt 5 - Kicking off her panties, which were now tangled around her ankles, she padded to the bathroom and pushed open the door. The shower curtain stood open and Ben leaned against the tile wall of the stall, eyes closed, his fist closed around the largest cock she’d ever seen. The muscles in his sculpted chest and arm rippled as he pumped his manhood with an urgency that made her light-headed. She watched for a moment, transfixed by the sight. But then confusion clouded her exhausted brain. Did he not want her? Why was he in here taking care of his own needs without her? Insecurity crept in and she started to back out of the bathroom, ready to pretend she’d never seen it, when his eyes opened and their gazes tangled. His eyes glowed amber, his dark lashes rimming the gold and making them pop. She saw anguish in his face. She took a breath and stepped forward. “May I join you?” # “Get out,” he gritted through clenched teeth. She flinched but didn’t move. “I’d like to help you with that,” she said, her eyes flicking to his aching cock. Her nipples stood out in pebbled tips, her naked form almost too beautiful to take in. He bit back the groan of longing that rose in his throat. His vision was razor-sharp, teeth elongating. He took several breaths to get control. “Get out,” he croaked. “You’re playing with fire.” “Maybe I like fire,” she said softly, taking another step forward. “Ashley,” he bit out, “You don’t know what I would do to you.” “What would you do?” Her gaze was soft, swimming in desire. Soft waves of rich brown hair fell in around her flushed face, and the blue eyes were almost all pupil. Jesus, that look...his flesh prickled with needles and pins, the need to mark her overtaking him. He imagined claiming her, taking her roughly from behind as he sank his teeth into her… He gripped his cock, squeezing it hard as he pumped his fist up and down. Jesus Christ. He’d never been so out of control before. His climax came like a torpedo, shuddering through him. He shot his load onto the tile, his cum hot where it splattered on his hand and thigh. Ashley stared, her blue eyes huge. She dragged her tongue across her lower lip, sending him into a second blinding orgasm. When it passed, he leaned against the shower wall, his knees weak. “Get out!” he barked. She froze, looking uncertain. “Go,” he said, panting to regain his breath. Her face flushed and he knew he’d hurt her, but he couldn’t help it. She had no idea what would happen if he let his animal self loose with her. She’d be marked within seconds, possibly bleed to death, and if she survived, she’d be mated to a loser wolf with a death threat hanging over his head. Which meant she’d never be safe again. “I’m sorry,” she mumbled as she turned and slipped out the door without looking back. He closed his eyes in frustration. He was such a jackass. He punched the shower wall beside him, cracking the tile. The pain eased a little of the need pulsing through him. The orgasm had only brought him the mildest relief. The pressure to claim the intoxicating female in the next room still pulsed beneath the surface. It was going to be a long night.

Release Blast & Giveaway: Consolation Prize by Linda Kage

What do you think? Should I give him a try?

CONSOLATION PRIZE
Forbidden Men #9
Linda Kage
Released Nov 17th, 2016

Don't you just hate it when someone destroys all your carefully made plans?

I mean, I had goals: college to graduate in one semester, a future I was working hard to reach, and an image of myself I wanted the world to see. My life was stacked into these precisely placed blocks. But then Colton Gamble came along and knocked them all askew.

I hated how he messed everything up, how he could hog all my attention whenever he was around, how he made my pulse quicken--but only because he ticked me off...not because I was attracted to him. Oh! And I hated how he knew how attractive he was too, the shallow, full of himself, doesn't take no for an answer, too-flirty, too cocky, extremely irritating jerk.

The boy had all the qualities that turned me off. Or so I thought.

One night he wasn't quite the brainless, over-confident jerk I usually took him for.

One night, he took care of me when I was at my lowest. He opened up to me and made me open up to him.

Now I'm learning maybe he's not what I first thought he was. And maybe I'M not what I first thought I was. Maybe it’s okay to rearrange a couple of my perfectly set blocks. Maybe, just maybe, I’ll stop worrying about what I’m afraid everyone else will think and finally reach for something I really want. It’s possible some of my plans need to be destroyed, and Colton Gamble is exactly the kind of mess I need in my life.

What do you think? Should I give him a try?

Desperately seeking your advice,
Julianna Radcliffe

“Just for that, I’m going to make you cuddle.”

“Cuddle?” My eyes bulged as he crawled closer.

For some reason, cuddling struck more fear inside me than getting slapped or punched. I knew exactly how to respond to those—kick his ass out of my apartment. But with cuddling, I was lost.

I edged away from him, shaking my head, only to yelp out a surprised scream when he snaked out a hand and caught hold of my leg, stilling me.

“Yes, cuddle,” he said. “I like to cuddle.”

My muscles clenched and limbs went tense as he climbed up right into my personal space and wrapped himself around me like a second skin.

“I…I’m not big on cuddling,” I finally admitted, my body board-stiff against him.

“Really?” He sounded surprised by that. “Well, don’t worry, by the time I’m through with you, you’ll love it.
